Amazon announced their new line of Kindles today.

I have the 3rd generation Kindle Keyboard. I love it, I use it every day. It’s light, the battery lasts forever, and the screen reads really well. It actually made me read again, after years of ignoring novels.

Now Amazon announced the Kindle Paperwhite. It’s pretty much the same, but the screen is much better. More contrast, it lights up, better resolution. They improved their product.

And now I really want to have one!

I think my devices are sufficient, they do what they should do. It used to be that computers were jut too slow and phones just too big. But at this point I could learn to be content.

My current Kindle is fine, really no problem, but I can’t resist…

Sorry planet earth, I know it will be more e-waste, but I need that high-contrast screen.
