In 2009 I was lucky enough to be in Tokyo for 3 months. I saw the beautiful retrospective exhibition of Japanese Painter Kayama Matazo. (Kyoto, 1927 – 2004)

The title of the exhibition was “Master of Decoration”, something that would never happen in the West.
