Star Trek is known for it’s devoted fan base. For trekkies, Star Trek is everything.

The most amazing thing to me is that Star Trek sometimes accepts fan submitted plots and uses them in their TV shows. That says a lot about the mutual respect between Star Trek the franchise and it’s fans.
